American Airlines Celebrity Golf & Tennis Event: Susan G. Komen for the Cure

It was an honor for the founders of Traveler's Gift Vacations to be hosted by American Airlines at their celebrity golf and tennis fundraising weekend at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. They spent three nights and two days playing in a golf tournament at Aviara, participating in a tennis clinic at Del Mar Country Club, relaxing in the hotel's beautiful spa, walking the gorgeous grounds of the resort, rocking out to Daughtry in an intimate concert setting, talking with various American Airlines employees, meeting celebrities, and making new friends all while raising money for Susan G. Komen or The Cure Foundation.

Raising money for breast cancer research was especially meaningful for Sarah Wauterlek (Co-Founder) as witnessed her own Mother's battle with breast cancer years ago. After all of the chemotherapy and surgeries, her Mom became a survivor and is now doing very well. If only all breast cancer stories ended this way. Unfortunately, most of us know someone who has been or is diagnosed with breast cancer. Let's continue to work together to find a cure as this affects us all.

Thank you to American Airlines for their generosity in hosting us, and even more importantly, for their efforts in supporting such a great cause. American Airlines is proving to be a company that cares about what matters and therefore a company that we are happy to support.

Little Feet

As we continue to seek out collaborative efforts to bring positive change in this world, our thoughts turn towards remembering a generous donation this past spring. Little Feet is an amazing company that passes out soccer balls to children in need. For every soccer ball that is purchased through them, they donate one to a child in need. Little Feet, Traveler's Gift Vacations and retired soccer professional ("Alexi") Lalas came together to bring soccer balls to some of the sweet children of Argentina this past March. Alexi and Little Feet gave Traveler's Gift the soccer balls and pumps to bring to the children of the orphanages that they visited in Argentina and the travelers on the vacation were able to pass them out to the children. Through collaborative efforts such as this, we can all make a large difference in this world.

We at Traveler's Gift want to show our appreciation to both Alexi and Little Feet for their time and effort to bring some happiness and joy into these precious children's lives! Thank you! Travel and Leisure Global Bazaar in NYC

Best of Argentina!

As we at Travelers Gift are working away preparing for our amazing trip to Argentina on October 21st - 30th, we wanted to take a minute to share with everyone a little bit of what this wonderful journey is going to consist of. On this trip we will be staying in three gorgeous yet very different cities. Our first stop is Buenos Aires, full of romance and passion, and considered the “Paris” of the Americas. Sip the many award winning wines of the region as you unwind amongst the vineyards, take in the beauty of your surroundings in the quiet of your luxurious accommodation, feel the sun smile down on you as you raft along the river, and hear the joy in the voices of those you help during the service day.

We will end our journey in the city of Bariloche, which is even more beautiful than one can imagine, and is sure to take your breath away. What is not to love? Gorgeous scenery, endless activity, warm people, savory cuisine, wine and chocolate! So whether you desire action, relaxation, or a combination of both, Argentina will exceed your expectations!

British Airways Face of Opportunity Event

The Travelers Gift was chosen as one of the 250 winners of this year's British Airways Face of Opportunity contest. Co-Founders Tania Martin and Sarah Wauterlek attended the event that took place in New York City and London. Travelers Gift Trip to China

This past December we, the founders of Travelers Gift, explored five exciting cities in China for ten days.
